What parents/caregivers are saying about WordPlay classes:
“This class is full of information which is presented in a fun and interesting manner. In the first class my daughter learned about acrostic poems, who knew there were so many different ways to write them! This started out as an "Okay, I will try it" to "I can't wait until next week". Tiffany does a great job presenting the information and engaging the students.”

”My daughter LOVES this class and the amazing teacher! She looks forward to it each week. Extremely engaging, creative and interesting classes! Highly recommend!”

Myth of the Week
$23 per session
This weekly mythology discussion class introduces students to Greek gods, heroes, and legendary stories in a fun, social, and accessible way—perfect for learners who love Percy Jackson and want to explore the myths behind the fandom.
We’ll use Percy Jackson’s Greek Gods as a friendly reference point, but the class isn’t a book study. Instead, each week focuses on a specific god, goddess, hero, or myth from Greek mythology, with the teacher guiding conversation, providing context, and helping students connect ancient stories to modern storytelling.
What happens each week:
A new god, hero, or myth takes center stage
The teacher introduces the myth in a clear, engaging way
Students discuss the characters, conflicts, and consequences in the story
We talk about why these myths still matter—and why they’re so fun
Learners share opinions, favorite moments, and theories
The tone is conversational and inclusive, with plenty of room for curiosity, humor, and participation. Prior knowledge of Greek mythology isn’t required—Percy Jackson familiarity helps, but enthusiasm is what really matters.
This is a guided discussion class, not a lecture. The teacher keeps things moving, fills in background when needed, and encourages students to ask questions, make connections, and think critically about the myths.
