What parents/caregivers are saying about our Wings of Fire classes:

”Creative, funny, and fun! My son had a great time in this class every week. He loved Jackson's contagious energy and her enthusiasm for everyone's ideas.”
Jessica J.

“This is my 9 year old boy's favourite Outschool class. By the end of class he is so excited with what he has created he talks about it for hours. He finds it so inspiring that he continues to build on the ideas of class for days afterwards. But it is its ability to motivate this ADHD child to voluntarily write and compose that makes it his parents favourite too.”
Sofian

This class is very well organized and creative. All students get a chance to participate well. It's been a huge hit with my 10-year-old son who LOVES "Wings of Fire" and animals.”
Stacey S.

Wings of Fire Book Club

$21 per session

For megafans of the Wings of Fire series! Join us to chat about the book with guided discussions each week.

We'll take a look at the stories from a literary standpoint, discussing elements such as how the author creates realistic characters, foreshadows events, incorporates specific themes, and more!

The class aims to prove that reading "smart" isn't just for dusty old books-- that all books hold a treasure trove of secret ingredients if you only learn how to look for them. This class an excellent way for students to learn and practice academic book discussion about a topic they're already fans of-- Wings of Fire!

Each class will feature a new discussion topic, listed below. This class is a guided discussion; while the topics are defined and I strive to keep students on subject, students are nonetheless encouraged to speak up, offer opinions, and play a role in guiding the conversation.

This is a weekly subscription-style class that can be joined at any time— the material does not repeat!

Wings of Fire is written by Tui T. Sutherland, illustrated by Joy Ang, and published by Scholastic.
