Taylor Swift Dungeons and Dragons Campaign

🎶 Join fellow new and intermediate D&D players in this fun, Taylor Swift-themed game! 🎶

Welcome to Taylandia, the land where Taylor Swift’s music turns to magic, and each era has come to life.

The Queen of Taylandia, Taylor Swift herself, needs saving. A curse has placed her in an endless sleep in the Midnights Castle. Without her awake to rule, things are falling apart—1989 City's skyscrapers are collapsing, Redland’s autumn leaves have died, and the giant snake beneath Repville has escaped.

It’s up to our players to collect items from each era to break the curse and save Taylor Swift’s music. You’ll work alongside characters from her songs and battle obstacles, including her evil exes, as you journey through each land.

Are you ready for it?

🎶 Class/Campaign size:

We aim for five players in a campaign but will start with at least three. The teacher may open enrollment for new players depending on the campaign's progression. If the class is open for enrollment, it’s a great time for your player to join! Players aren’t required to stay until the campaign’s end, but please let us know if you need to leave after a certain time.

🎶 New to D&D?

Fantastic! We’re excited to have you. D&D is a fun way to practice cooperative problem-solving, character development, and story strategy—all with a Taylor Swift twist. When you enroll, the teacher will help you create a Level One character and guide you through the process if needed.

🎶 How long will the Class/Campaign last?

D&D campaigns vary based on player choices, so this is a weekly class rather than a course with a set duration. Expect the first Taylandia segment/album to last about four to five weeks. After that, players can choose to continue to the next album or end the campaign.

🎶 Class outline:

The first 10 minutes are for greetings and recaps. If new players join, we’ll take a bit more time to get them caught up.

🎶 Behavior Expectations:

- Respect: Treat all players and the Dungeon Master with respect. Listen to and value everyone’s input.

- Inclusion: This is a space for everyone. Discrimination or bullying won’t be tolerated.

- Collaboration: D&D is a team game. Support your fellow adventurers and work together.

- Patience: Learning D&D takes time. Be patient with yourself and others. Everyone plays differently, and that’s okay.

- Creativity: Feel free to be creative in your problem-solving and role-playing.

- Kindness: This campaign will be PG-13, so while there’s some violence, gratuitous and graphic violence is not encouraged.
